  Very dear fish and chip shop. So called £7.00
  Fish and chip special was no special offer, more like a rip off offer. I was prepared to buy the rip off meal deal but he refused to serve me a glass/cup etc of tap water and said bottled water only. So be ware, I got a lovely fish and chip meal on the London Road, just up from the port/lid I at a fraction of the price because it was happy hour and she gave me a glass/cup tap water. It still would of been cheaper outside of happy hour than prices take away. The staff were very friendly and the meal came with a side and drink. The bonus was being undecided about the side to chose, she said I could have two half side portions. Keep well away from prices as the names subjects and this is we're the answer lies(prices) and yes he knows how to charge/rip people off.

  I became aware of the slight rancid smell of the oil needing changing but as I'd ordered fish , cooking was underway. From the good reviews I hoped I was wrong. Fish large but expensive and batter far too thick,hence the large size. Chips ok but the oil definitely needed changing. Price is on the high side , we could have eaten in a good cafe instead!
